hello all: I'm planning an add-on upper level to my layout and would like to know what's the best method of attatching my upper level to the wall without adding posts to the front? My layout is an around the walls type and I don't want any obstructions between the two tiers and have seen photos of other layouts, but no explanation of how the managed to make a 1' wide piece of benchwork hold vertical on a wall without the front being supported! Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Pete

Simple shelf brackets from the big box store work fine for many folks. You might need to do a little shimming because the brackets are often angled up slightly from the wall. Easy.
