I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this event in a thread here on Trainboard. I registered for the convention this morning. Anyone else going to be attending?
I wish. But between an ongoing family issue and my health will not allow the possibility. Hopefully someone will post reports and even some photos.
I would LOVE to go. But I dont think the newly wed wife would like it too much if I bailed out of the honeymoon to attend a train show.
I've had my reservations in for months now, so I will be there. I am looking forward to the tours especially as I haven't either done them before or not in a very long time. I think its going to be a great time. Peter
I wish I could but,my health won't allow such long trips. Now if the convention is ever held in Columbus(Oh) I'll be there..
I was planning on flying into San Francisco and taking 2-3 days to drive up to the convention. Then another 2-3 days driving to Seattle to fly back home. But the economy had other plans.
We can no longer go to events where there is no way we can come close to breaking even. Between $4+ fuel and the fact that there is no public show there is no way to cover costs of the trip itself. In addition is the cost of personnel to pack here, unpack & setup at the event, repack after and unpack and setup again here at the shop. Without a WGH show to go along with the NSC event and a major N-Scale layout to bring in modelers.
Since it is in Medford and we live it Medford its a no brainer, we are attending and will have a table at the Swap-a-rama.
We will be there only 250 miles south so a local show for us LOL. See you there rich wwww.rslaserkits.com
I will be going to Medford with the full range of the www.nscalekits.com intermodal and flat car range. This time, we have new cars, which are now in production but not launched yet. However, I will let folks here know as soon as we are ready to fulfil the orders. I hope that many of you will be interested in some of the intermodal and flat cars that we are getting ready for launching! These are all new cars to the n scale arena. I hope to see many other Trainboarders in Medford too. Peter Peter Harris N Scale Kits www.nscalekits.com
