I'm having a frustrating problem with Cobalt turnout motors, on one turnout specifically. I keep having the same problem, after a few throws, the motor stops. Only removing the motor from the layout makes it work again. I've used 3 different motors, each one has had the same problem. The same motors used elsewhere on the layout have worked perfectly. I've replaced all the wiring leading to the motor. I'm using an NCE Switch-it control, the second output works correctly, I've tried replacing the switch-it, got the same results. Any suggestions?
It sounds like a mechanical issue in the Cobalt...perhaps the gear train is getting jammed. I would look for anything unique about the mounting or linkage with this one turnout.
