Hi, near buying an HO Bachmann Decapod on line..Is it easy to remove white wall tire factory paint ? Is it by sanding/filing ? Or is it chemical removal with acetone or paint thinner on rag with slow turning wheels ? Can I damage loco ? Only one offered without white walls , the Dixie Line, has a stack I don't care for...like a trumpet bell... Thanks , Mark
Que-tip. First try 90% alcohol. Acetone will MELT your plastic. If that doesn't work, #400 wet-dry emery paper. Yes, wet it.
Try applying Pine-sol dissinfectant cleaner with a Q-Tip and rubbing gently with a Pencil eraser to remove the paint.
