Our NTRAK club is setting up our layout today to be open for a public open house for the next two weekends. Here is an old photo showing one of the modules.
Sorry bout that typo. Was in a rush this morning to get the topic up before I headed out to work on the NTRAK layout. Just got home a few minutes ago. The layout went up in fine order and we were all finished early. However, we were having too much fun running trains to lock up and go home.
Ran some trains on the club layout today. I took there pictures to show a little of the scenery. Atlas U33c and B23-7; H0 scale.
Thanks Hank. We try to break up the three parallel mainlines whenever possible. The "Y" junction modules for access to the yard were fun to design and build using stock Atlas crossings. They are wired to electrically interlock the lines so that the outer lines have priority when entering the yard and the inner lines are disabled to avoid collisions. Still does not work when there are 4 Kato E units. The #4 unit still manages to push the "dead" locos ahead of it into the crossing.
