An around the room layout is a great idea given your logistics change. Instead of a duck under use a lift out, lift up, drop down or swing bridge, depending on your layout / bench work design. With an around the room layout you no longer need return loops. This will give you a little more breathing room for your industries, staging and scenic running. More real estate, more railroad!
