hello, need some help with layout. i based it on the salt lake route. i had enough single tracks to make without using the v 11 kit. i wanted to add some elevation. i will be cutting out where the double bridge is i don't know know if i am going to do a road a wash or a river.also on the side where they have the inter modal yard i am thinking of adding 8" x 3' to do a yard for staging.looking at the pictures does this make good sense . any feed back would be helpful.

Do you have a track plan you can post? It would help me understand what's going on, which is difficult to gather from the photos. Also, exactly what are you trying to accomplish with the revisions you want to make? How much tweaking would you be looking to do?

I recall the Salt Lake Route plan and it seemed to lack space for the intermodal yard. The addition / extension to the intermodal yard would be a great improvement to the layout if you have the real estate available. It would nicely double as a staging yard!

You may lack distance in achieving much elevation for your double track truss bridge for a road, however a wash, creek or river would look good.
