Oh Bog Guy I want that. Do I ever. But my CFO would kill me. How about $1 down and a $1 a week? See ya Ron
Some minor assembly required? Very nice!! Would love to get one, but as folks know: No Job = No Money! If I knew about SSDI, and that I was getting it, I'd seriously think about placing an order!! Now, a matching pit mine dump truck is needed!
Glad you like them guys. These come fully assembled, just remove from the shipping container, pose them and place them in the scene. It took me two years of begging and pleading with P&H to allow the access to these. They were commissioned as internal only gifts to new shovel owners. I have only a handful and then they are gone from the public hands.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh Geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!! My son is lead IT at Round Mountain Gold in Neveda. My wife and I got a personal tour from my son of the whole mine in July. We got to see one of the shovels up close and personal !! The damn things are hugh !!! To the top of the track itself is a heck of a lot higher then I am tall. I'ld give dang near anything to own one of these P&H shovels. Unfortunately...like most...I just cant afford it right now &^$&$%$^%(&^%& !!!!!!!! We also saw one of the dump trucks at the 4th of July picnic at the local park...again it was hugh !!!! That's me with THE Wife...and I am 6'6" tall standing next to that wheel ! Great looking model from Train Cat and Bob.....as always !
Now THAT looks like it would be a fun truck to drive!! Could use it as my daily driver to and from work?? They look gigantic on TV, gotta be more so in person!
I checked the site, and was surprised how little it was priced for a built brass model http://store.traincat2.com/mining-equipment/ I really have no need for one, so I bought a Southern Pacific caboose instead

Yes, Expect something as BIG as a Cat 797. Already in the works! Here is a size comparison for you on how big these shovels are:
Sweet! I toured an ore mine a few years ago and watched one of these at work, it filled a 180 ton dump truck in 2 scoops. What a great way to complete a mine scene!
I'm wanting one so #@$#$% bad!! Would need to know if payment options are available?? Can't do much, all at once, until I find out about SSDI benefits. Would make a GREAT N-Track module scene, now that I think of it! A matching dump truck would really be nice too!! Like to see it, or similar.
Apparently these things cost somewhere in the general neighborhood of 15 million. I guess you could afford to send the buyer a free model like this. Hey Bob, You need to pose an N scale man or woman up on the walkway. lol.
