I have recently purchased a Canadian Pacific USRA 4-6-2 Model Power (standard tender) which comes with the Rapido coupler on the tender.
Usually these are shipped with a knuckle coupler for conversion, but mine is missing! :( The Micro Trains chart for
conversion shows no kit for the Model Power 4-6-2. Does anyone know of a kit that would work that is compatible with the Micro Trains line of Magnematics?
I'd also like to convert the loco pilot dummy coupler, but that's not as high a priority.

I just checked the MT conversion chart on line. it is showing a 1025 coupler for the tender only. No conversion for the pilot.
    Have fun railroading,

I usde and Athearn (McHenry) coupler on the front of my 2-6-0, it fit right in the coupler box.

If you want an MT, just remove the truck-mounted coupler, drill a hole in the tender chassis, and then screw in a 1015 (or whatever). That's what I did on mine.

Because of the short radius turns in my layout (4' x 4'), I wanted a truck-mounted coupler!

The most recent run of semi-streamlined Pacifics came with truck-mounted McHenry couplers. Maybe contact the Model Power parts department and see if you can get one of those?

I used MTL #1016 (with the longer shank) on my Model Power 2-8-2 and 4-6-2. I think that these were recommended for smaller radii but could not verify this on my layout because I don't have small radii.
