I could have a lot of fun with the innuendos here, but truth of the matter is that I made my UPS 28' pup trailer 6 inches too short (in height)! I didn't realize it until I stood it up to a Trainworx drop frame version. I checked my design file, and indeed it is a half a foot too short. Oh well, I thought I would share the results anyway. Here is the "shorty" in primer.

Which wheels will work for these pups? Will the Trainworx wheels/axles fit?

Also, curious about decals for these, what are you planning on using for them?

I need to get a few of these. Also need some 45ft UPS trailers.

I have my own wheels and tires for all of my trailers, but I would imagine that the Trainworx axles would work on these. I am using a piece of piano wire as the axle which is probably very similar. As far as UPS decals, I met someone that makes them, and he was kind enough to share.

Well I'd just need "United Parcel Service" and numbers.

But looking forward to these, could use some more to fill up some flats.

Is it just me, or are the surfaces starting to get smoother with this technology? Those look really good...even next to the TW trailers.

It's not you - its the primer Husker uses - it seems to smooth out a lot of the roughness.

Speaking of primer... What primer do you use?

I use good ole' Rustoleum from a rattle can. Nothing fancy.

A slightly taller profile tire might make up the difference in height although a scale 6 inches in N would be barely noticeable. Nice trailer though.

I already updated my design, and ordered a new pair. that is the great part about design.
