I'm looking to get a couple FM switchers. While I've been sniffin' around, I notice that there are millions of shells out there, but few mechanisms. I'm wondering if anyone knows why. What are people doing with the chassis ??? THANKS !!!
This might not explain what you are seeing: Believe it or not, this chassis has in the past, and even now been popular amongst some narrow gaugers. For instance, it is well known in HOn30 circles.
I have three or four mechanisms that I would be willing to sell. Send me a PM or email with your email and we can discuss. I purchased them to get the shells (years ago) to lengthen graft onto an Atlas VO-1000. Later the shells were on clearance at Model Power and I have 10-20 of them that I could match up with the mechanisms if needed. Best wishes, Dave
