I don't know what I've posted because I haven't been on here. I'm not used to the new forum design. Anyways. I've been busy in the paint booth. Several Rio Grande projects going on. A few Southern Pacific. A few BNSF and of course chessie system. Here's a few pictures of what I'm working on and some that are finished. Still plenty more on the way.
I like the way the Daylight cars have turned out. Makes one wonder what the Bombardier cars would look like in Daylight. Here's a good reference to the revenue heavyweights that were painted Daylight: http://coscia-espee.info/sp_daylight.html Personally, I'm wanting to try this one: http://www.northeast.railfan.net/images/sp3176.jpg Just one thing: I don't think "Southern Pacific Lines" was ever used on the Daylight cars. I'm not worried about being prototypical for the heavyweights. These are for myself and I'm making them to what I find appealing. If I made a set for someone else I might leave the "lines" decal off, but I like it. From what I've found SP had very few heavyweight daylight cars to begin with. I'm doing the F59 and bombardier cars right now in the daylight scheme. Hopefully they turn out nice.
