Big thanks for the tips Mike. Over the years you've taught me quite a bit. And the camera work was fine; just FYI
Is it just me...or are YouTube videos NOT showing up ? Even their home page is FUBAR from here...hmmmm.
YouTube does have down times, now and then. Usually some dopey message comes up. Also, now and then I have found a need to dump old cookies.
Mike.... If you spread those 'ears' out a bit on the tower piece so they snap in better and stay in better...how hard are they to get back out later when you need to do some 'maintenance' ? I'm sure they will be in there pretty tight...what is the procedure for getting it back out ? A little more robust rocking back and forth...like taking a shell off a locomotive ? Or a screwdriver and a hammer...like I feel I need to do to take some shells off !!! TIA.
Thanks Mike. Your clip is very helpful and very appreciated. Wonder why KATO stop enclosing an exploded parts list as they done in the past. This was very helpful in sorting where parts are supposed to be. Cliff
Usually you just twist the truck to the left or right all the way and then a gentle wiggle and they will come out but sometimes you just have to tug until the cap comes off the truck but either way it is a long time between times doing this. One could also remove the shell and split the frame if you were servicing. Thanks , Mike
My guess is that the frames and drives are generally so simple they figure folks can figure it out. Thanks , Mike
