Well we've done it again! That weekend is almost here so it's time to fire up the engines of imagination and see what we have planned for the weekend. With a busy summer off, Wiggin Locomotive Works gets back to work today. I have a few loose end projects such as a Rock Island GP7U and a Iowa Interstate Gp38-2 that need to get finished as well as a customers small detail project before I clear off the bench for some D&RGW equipment. Saturday, I'll spend most of my time at the soccer field but I'm hopping to make fellow Trainboard member, PPUIN (Dave's), operating session Saturday night. Sunday will probably involve some needed yard work but I hope to work on the Galesburg City Job structures like I had planned last weekend. So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Let us know. We'll come back on Monday the 29th and see how we all did. Until then, have a productive and safe weekend and like always... High Greens!
I'm going to try and work on the layout this weekend. Perhaps get some more ground cover and ballasting done. And, do some more design work on the abutments and piers for my new steel bridges. Or - what ever other mischief I can come up with. Ya'll have a great and productive weekend, Wolf
its the last weekend for me without my household goods. Which means the model railroad de-tox is almost over. Still working on my youtube channel.
Started weekend work early. Continued on my re-phasing (2 to 3) of a Kato Amtrak baggage car last night. Three decal sets, and crossed eyes, and I have one side done. Next side hopefully tonight, or Sunday. Also finished weathering a BLMA PTTX flat. Naturally, I found pics without loads after I started...... Then it's back to work on locos for the Naperville RPM show, and painting some Soo Line heavyweight cars.
A friend and I are going to Pleasanton, Ca. for the Good Guys cars show Sunday. I still haven't gotten my order of WP paints and decals, so I ordered them direct from Badger, so that project is on hold until I get some paint.
