Any further developments on this project idea?
Was wondering what the status of this project is?
I connect the relays to an arduino and then I can either control the turnouts via computer, or serial port commands via arduino...or one can setup...
I use simple relays that are arduino compatable
Hello Everyone, I have an nscale layout and I am controlling the kato/unitrack 2-wire turnouts using a 8 channel relay board, pushbuttons, and...
I've successfully used an arduino, LEDS on hand, several IR sensors to activate crossings in both HO Scale and Nscale.... I've also coupled it...
So...along these lines.....I am using an Arduino Nano....and an 8 bank of relays....using 2 relays per turnout...however I would like to instead...
I use the pololu motor shield with an uno...and it should with theethernet shield... I have wanted to do this but not got around to it...as long...
I'm not looking to count cars/wheelsets I am only looking at standard block occupancy using the IR detectors which I have plenty of and do not...
So for starters I have a simple loop of track divided into just 2 isolated blocks. You are saying to use 2 IR detectors at the entrance and exit...
I set it up to do this....and no I have another problem that has crept up.....when passing in either direction the signals alternate twice before...
Hello Group, I have come to a roadblock in my programming and I hope someone here is able to figure this out. I have a loop of track and it is...
Yes. I have had to add resistors to programming tracks and reading sound equipped locos I have had to up the programming amp to 5amps or more as...
Resistors are always needed for programming tracks...and boosters are usually needed for sound locos...I model in HO scale and this is true
Could make a second power district out of the second set of outputs
Is this Pi Hat sold out?
Wasn't it rockstar or rocrail or something similar that went out of business? Seemed promising. Yes the DCC manufacturers are going to get a run...
From what I have seen in the LCC demo videos is you can use different DCC controllers from different manufacturers. I haven't seen or read...
I personally would't want to be burdened with pushing buttons all the time
I'd be interested in seeing your schematic or pictures of how you accomplished this. Thanks
