N&W covered Hopper I took this photo Saturday morning when 44E was heading north off the NS Asheville District, something caught my eye, and it was this old N&W coverd hopper . So I snapped a few pictures of it.
White Sulphur Springs & Yellowstone Park Railway in WSS, MT used to interchange with the Milwaukee Road at Ringling, MT. Although the line to WSS is severed at the depot, a MILW ballast hopper silently sits on the siding:
