Don't get me started!!! I'd love to have 2-3 IC C636s running a solid unit train of coal hoppers. I've kitbashed a C630 thats a reasonable stand-in but the hi adhesion trucks are still a problem to overcome based on the truck spacing on the C630. The ConCor C636 sideframes are 'ok' but really lack the level of detail we've all come to expect. I hope that Briggs or someone of that type might look at offering a kit to do the Hi-Ad trucks (and perhaps a carbody and fuel tank assembly as well).

I've asked repeatedly and Atlas simply isn't interested in doing the C636. Steve's PC unit is about the best that I've seen. Great work there Steve!

And, of course, the SP&S engines became BN... and one Conrail unit became Delta Bulk Terminal (but that's a useless roadname to most people), the unit that became D-L.

Now that Atlas are producing artwork for non-North American loco's, such as the C628 coming in September 2009 for Hammersley Iron, Australia, there are three other C/M 636's operators with over a hundred loco's and at least three different colour schemes that Atlas could do. Hammerslery Iron, Cliff's Robe River Associates, Mt Newman Mining.

    Cheers,
    Chris
