Building the Andersley Western Railroad

A week has passed since the shutdown for TrainBoard changeover work. Surely exciting things have happened on the AW?

 

A bit too hot in the garage Ken, we are having a very rare heatwave. More progress soon.

 

Isn't cool here, either. While TrainBoard was down, I was trying to catch up a bit at the work bench. Had to time my painting for cooler daytime hours. My hands kept sweating, so I had to keep washing them.

 

Beginning to add personnel to various industries

 

Tried to upload more images, but seemed to be fighting the software, so gave up.

 

Smart fellow, using pallets for a seat. If I was spotted sitting down, someone would think I was loafing and yell at me.

I'm sure liking the size of photos we can view now. Really brings life into the scene.

 

some really good looking mini scenes thats exactly my intention for my layout, once the base scenery is down I will commence the next level of detail including mini scenes

 

Tried weathering the RSD-15. Only chalks were used, so could be easily cleaned off if not happy. Tried to leave the patched areas clean.

 

The weathering on those ALCo trucks looks really good!
