River_eagle's photos reminded me of a couple baggage cars that I've had in boxes for years. Its not worth a lot, I don't mind taking a chance so why not donate to the cause? I don't have much to decorated /decal it with but it would be nice to have a picture of the finished product before the G&OM's flag falls.

 

So, first of all, why is the GO&M flag falling? Secondly, i migbt have a slight confession to make...

I managed to track down the poster on another forum recently, and this might have FIMALLY come home... Been sitting on her until i had the car rolling again and i was trying to get interior partitions wedged inside.pgive me a week guys, or better yet, start PMING ME if any of you stillbwant to see the Watash. Im only gonna send the one though.

One what? The car is mine, until recently it was strandedon. The Port Abel Railway in New York. Ill save you all the yarn about how he couldnt log in here and couldnt get ahold of me and how all of my phone messegaes were garbled and how his phone appearently didnt have a little feature called RE¤¤¤¤INDIAL on it when i callexhim AND HIS WIFE and MAILEX A LETTER TO HIS WORK. /Rant

Gp30, if you want, i can mail you some decals to finish the baggage car. Ive been meaning to do a set for an RPO ive bren wanting to do as a TBX patched Westport Terminal dynamometer car, in honor of Wolfgang but im nowhere near ready for that quite yet

Yeah, we could get the baggage and the Watash together as a pair and get the exchange going again.

As to why the G&OM becoming a fallen flag, sources who wish to remain anonymous say to look for a "press release" coming this week.

 

Alright, so quickie thoughts on what a bagagge car's new lease on life is?

 

Soitenly. UP uses theirs as a dnce hwll too, and possibly a lecture hall.

 

Two quick updates, things i felt were missing from 8701: Walthers diaphram. Piece of cake to install.
the other is a quickie interior. The inside is rather uneven and "crammed" is a good word to describe it. The bedrooms and kitchens are not actually devided, but the small side windows make it somewhT hard to tell and finding sleeper interior parts is extremely difficult. Gives the car a tiny bit more weight thugh and she feels less hollow...
