Interesting how these things play out. After last week, and the Schieffer denial...

Interesting to read. Quoting what is written of comments by Mr. Schieffer:

"First of all, I would caution there is too much speculation in that area," he said. "There are a lot of noncarrier funds extremely ready, willing and able to invest in this."

So, what is factual here? Is "Vox Verax" 'cry of truth' (am I even close at all?), actually true? (I tend to shy away from any site that proclaims itself...) Or, is what they have posted a mix of personal opinion, and wishful thinking?

What I've read so far, seems to read like a firm "They are." Followed by "No. We are not." Succeeded by "Yes, you are!" And, "No. You're just guessing."

If anyone wanted to muddy the waters, they've done a fine job. We sure could not see what's actually happening, if our lives depended upon it!

    Good grief.

Note, he didn't deny that those companies had offered money. He only said there were other sources out there.

Actually, other than suggesting a potential for non-rail investment, he was quite non-committal.

Apparently the judge is unfamiliar with a recent Supreme Court decision in the matter of eminent domain. Frank

I'd say that from what I see these days, it often appears courts simply do whatever they please.
