Coming from you guys that is a very nice compliment! I was thinking about the interior and how to handle that. I think I hit on the plan. I did a search for steel fabrication shop pictures and found a couple I thought might work. I fired up my copy of Microsoft Publisher 2007 and did some sizing and such. This is the first go, I will tweak it to cover the back wall. Enjoy!
Looking down that photo into the building, it reminds me vaguely of what was called the "New Car Line" at PC&F. Just needs less light, air filled with smoke and slag and years of dingy dirty buildup....
I finished up the backdrop and added some columns to hide where the flat meets the back board. The interior framing will get painted to match the framing in the photo. I'll do the same with the wall colors. It's ready to add some exterior details and weather.
Nice work! Even though the pic is upside down to me... It does look like you have it at a more correct viewing angle! Now, I want one!!! LOL! JMS
Funny, it shows right side up on my iPad, upside down on my laptop. I think I know the answer for why that happens. I take the photos on he ipad, if I want a low angle I will turn it a different way than normal. The screen always shows right side up. I will change the way I take my photos. Sorry for the confusion.
We've had a few others experience this, using a mobile device. I wonder if what you've suggested is the answer? If so, we can then pass this solution along.
Ok Gents, The upside down pictures are bugging me. So..... I took 2 more pictures of the layout. The first one has the home button on my iPad on the left (Long shot of Gavilon Grain) , the second has the home button on the right (Gavilon Grain). How do these look to you? Further note, if I view the pictures on my post with my iPad, they are right side up. If I use my laptop, they show upside down. So here goes the test.
