This is a N-scale Bachmann 4-8-4 with a new tender harded-wired to loco.

Is that a brass unit?

 

I might be wrong but I believe they were the predecessor of the H8. As in the designs had some things in common. Also I read one time that there was/is a turn in Ohio that they had to keep a road crew at because the T1 tried to straighten the curve every time one went through.

 

No, not brass. Brass is too $$$ for a new guy
