Please keep us posted on their progress? I wonder who, if anyone, will distribute in the States?

Oops. Forgot to ask- Are the truck side frames a 'when they're gone, they're gone' item? Or will they still continue to be manufactured and available?

Hadn't really thought that far ahead. Sometimes I like to stock up on things for future use. Does NWSL still make HOn30 wheels because that might be the wheel they are designed for.

I asked if they are available and they said that there are still available but they no longer supply wheels. I didn't think to ask if they are still being manufactured.

Dunno about NWSL. Guess we could take a look.

If you connect with Grandt again, could you inquire about teh future of those parts?

NWSL will be happy to supply you with wheels...for a nice, high price and a large order. The HOn30 market is so small that it is not a profitable venture for them right now. Grandt will not run the trucks when supplies are exhausted, same reasons. You fellows might try contacting David Hoffman, he makes some fine HOn30 trucks but is NOT on the internet. Seek and ye shall find.

Yep, but they are very nice...and available. Or it's back to N scale archbars.

Chivers cars are now available from Slimrails http://www.slimrails.co.uk/ email them (slimrails@btinternet.com) with your requirements for a price quote. I assume they are only dealing direct.

It's available but they haven't updated the website to show it yet - which reminds me, one of my tasks this week is to get my online shop up and running !

    http://www.parksidedundas.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_CHIVERS_FINELINES.html

chivers trucks and rolling stock are offered through parkside dundas in the UK.

their trucks are nice. scale to 4' wheelbase in HO. they are archbars with a single spring.

as a TT modeller myself, i do appreciate the dilemma you find yourselves in. TT is going through one of its upswings but from a very low base ... it is always tough in a scale with only one or two cottage manufacturers providing support.

    rpeck-

Thanks. I just looked. Leaves me scratching my head a little bit... Seller wants $39.99, but on the F&C web site they are $34.99.

I was just looking at the Chivers link which Ben Scaro listed. Been ages since I last bought anything from overseas. Guess I might need to check into that as well.

Also wondering- Has anyone here ever built any Mount Blue Models HOn30 box car kits? I have heard good words about their On30, so presume HOn30 is just as good?
