I can't recall ever hearing of people who have actually used and dislike the Unitrack. Seems I have heard a couple of minor switch points adjustments needed, but that is all. I have used it in N scale, trouble free.

As with any track system whether Atlas, Bachmann or others you are limited by the products they have. Might use Flex-Track on cork roadbed instead. As you are building on foam everything will have to be glued with a glue that won't attack the foam.
The LK&R Ry is built on foam. We used cork roadbed glued with Elmers Carpenters Glue. T pins were used to hold things until the glue set. The track was also glued to the cork with the same glue. Again T pins were used to hold the track while the glue set. Ballast followed.

well i tried flex had horrible luck with it and am having trouble with regualr snap track i don't mind the being fixed to what they sell
i think its my eyesight gettin in the way the kato seems to be bulletproof little pricey but if i can just click it together like it is and be able to go from there i think would work out better i had the bachman stuff and hated it there turnouts are PURE junk. just wanted some opinions on the kato since i don't have a good local shop that sells it i have to order pretty much everything unless i want to drive 1 and a half hours one way to a good local store i only do that when i need something repaired what would be good way to get into the kato track i know they have a boxed kit of track or should i buy it peice meal style my layout is 6x10 radius is going to be 24 and 22'' radii thanks guys and for turnouts whats the largest loco that will go though a number 4 turnout appricate the help thanks a lot Zach

well i have tried the normal track and my toubles are i can't seem to get things to line up correctly i wind up with cork that is not the right radii or if i get it close my track don't like up correctly with the cork its off to one side or another im using cheap latex caulk to lay it down onto the foam board i mark it an pin it it jsut seems i can't get it to line up correctly i have a vision issue that limits what i can do and can't i wanted to try using the normal snap track or flex and just isn't working out for me. so i was lookin at the unitrack since it just snaps together and don't really need securing until the track plan is finalized but lookin at there stuff im not sure wetather to peice meal it out or start with a boxed set
