Has anyone out there used these products? What did/do you think? Opinions and experiences greatly appreciated!

I've never used it since I weather most of my equipment and hit it with some clear Dullcoat when done that helps protect the Decals I may have applied. But if your not going to weather your equipment then I could see how it would come in handy

Don't recall ever using the Satin. I have a bottle of the Flat, and have used it, but so long ago I do not recall. :(

I like to use them for an overcoat after decaling. I use Testors lacquer for a gloss coat before the decals but when I use Dullcoat or a lacquer satin coat they dissolve into the gloss coat and are diluted. This leaves the decals with straight overcoat and more of the flatting agent. They stick out like a sore thumb. So the Micro finishes go on the same over the decals or the gloss surface blending them into the finish better.

I've used all three (Gloss, Satin and Flat) Results with an airbrush or brush are very good. I've also used the Testors stuff but I still like the MicroScale stuff better.

Has anyone tried brushing them on over decals? My recent attempts to airbrush Dullcote and Testor's Clear-Flat have resulted in a cloudy frosted look. I've been told it's the humidity that does this (I'm in Florida). I tried brushing on the testors but after 3 coats it's still kind of streaky. Maybe the Microscale stuff would have a more uniform finish.

Here's a question- I just realized I have had my bottles for quite a while. How do these finishes hold up to time?

Hopefully it will hold up better than Testors lacquers. All the HO stuff I used it on for my dad 30 years ago has yellowed badly.

Some of my bottles are dated nearly twenty years old. I am now doubting they should be used.

Brushed over decals, in thin coats, worked fine. Ken, I would try it on a sample of something first. You might be at the ragged edge of good. But, the gloss and satin are very watery.

Testors always had a rep for yellowing after awhile. That's why people used Floquil clear cause it didn't have that issue. I've got cars I've sprayed over the years with Pollyscale and MicroScale clears that are fine.
