I found another garden railway nut on the O scale forum. Looks like a fun layout. http://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/displayForumTopic/content/5512461211870139/page/1
We finally had some good weather here in Denver. I decided I needed to get out and lay some track. http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/gallery/image.php?image_id=1603 http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/gallery/image.php?image_id=1604 I also had to fix a spot I hadn't re enforced well enough during construction. http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/gallery/image.php?image_id=1606 http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/gallery/image.php?image_id=1608 So now I'm almost doubled up on mainlines. I haven't cut any blocks into anything since I plan to run DCC eventually.
i keep meeting new people online who do trains. This is an odd one: british; models in the garden; has some really nice Us trains; is a woman named Jane.
Just a mess of photo links to various outdoor layouts. I realize this isn't everyones cup of tea, but there is interesting work being done in Ho gauge. hmmm... looks like my cut paste caused some issues. I'll have to fix some links later. I posted the same list on the OO garden railway site: http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=562 (I cut out all the links that weren't working for right now.) here is a sample. You just can't fake evening light indoors.
I realized that looking at my gallery of garden layouts thread was a hassle because the images weren't embedded. I just fixed that: http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=562&p=8219#p8219
I just got my double main done. Will need to do some testing by running a bunch soon. http://www.oogardenrailway.co.uk/gallery/image.php?album_id=33&image_id=1634
