So no National Train Show thread for HO? Why do the N and Z scalers get all the fun. So the Big one for me is Athearn's Genesis GP39-2 PH1 and what a great locale to showcase the multiple PNWR #s they're doing. No Cubscout patch WPRR Patch job unit, but I can do that myself. Pricing isn't horrible either. More than I want to pay, but not horrible. Of course, the flip side here is that Atlas still hasn't managed to get their GP39-2 out of China hell. Paging Paul Graf. At least they still have some Ph2 stock on hand which Athearn isn't making. Still, for me, Atlas may have just lost some sales. I've been waiting patiently. Athearn also showed an SD40 decorated for CORP. So that was some nice local flare...And no PNWR SD45, so my custom project can go on.
Who says the HO folks didn't get any loving? Wheels of Time announced the HO F-70-43 SP bulkhead and standard flat cars, Athearn has announced new Genesis Autoracks, Tangent new PS3 coal cars, and there is other stuff too.
