This is becoming more difficult to post relies in an existing PM. Hit "reply" in lower right, opened reply window at the bottom, put your response in, hit bottom "post reply" and nothing. Zero. Cut, go back, open "reply" in new tab, "reply to conversation", works there just fine. Seems like a lot of messing around with buttons that don't work. I think that it works okay for maybe the first reply or so, but after that, nothing. I have been in a couple of long PM discussions, and this is what I have found. Also, "upload a file" is only there when I open the "reply" in a new tab. I can work around it, but does anybody else have this issue? Dave
I have not seen that. There is always a quick reply area I just click in and start typing. Never an issue. On multiple platforms and browsers.
Only after one or two replies does it seem to come into play. I can type into the box below, but the bottom reply button does nothing at all after those two or three responses. IF I right click the "reply" button in the lower right of the posting I am responding to, open in new tab, that works. Hitting "reply" in lower right only puts my cursor in the quick reply box...and I get a small off-coloured window in top right of screen with three dots across for a moment. Tries to do something, but it doesn't get there. I have a new tab opened in PM's now, and just tried it again, same thing. I first noticed it (and didn't know it was a "feature") when responding to one of the staff, and figured he had done something to disallow responses, but now I know the workaround. So, I don't know exactly how long this has been a "feature", but there it is.
IE8 works. I did notice the "reply" button is not blued in FF, but is in IE. The little box in the corner is like the whirling circle, but linear, and goes for a lot longer in IE, which I would expect.
