Why do the same photos of John Moore's pike appear in 'New Media' every time I/we log in ? Nothing against him or his creation. It's just odd how it's always there. The old Tboard had new ones near every day. Why did this (seemingly) change ? This layout has been at the top for what must be 2 months now...Mark
It may look that way. If you look at the posting date at the bottom, the latest one was posted today. If you scroll down through multiple page you will see he has uploaded a lot of photos in the last month.
But, they are not the same. Each shows a different scene, different angle, new addition, modification, etc.
Are those random photos? I've been thinking that those are the latest photos posted. John and Hog Waller appear a lot there because he posts quite a few pictures and I'm good with that. There have been some others appearing recently, like that awesome Bates Motel scene.
Just a question. Not anything more other than an explanation. Are the random photos going to return to a monitor near you? Is there a plan to re-apply said random photo software to this new iteration of forums? When I could do not much else, late in the evening, I could spend considerable time refreshing the page and right click, open in new tab, any photos of interest, but now, I just view the forum for new threads and go elsewhere. Base question: Are there any plans in the works (sometime in the future: past this morning) to bring random photos back? Thanks. Dave
Oh. 10-4. I did not notice that they are continually being added. I thought they were the very same ones being repeated.
Yeah, that's what I was getting at...No value judgement of John Moore's pics. It's that they are there all the time. Charlie says they are the newest photos by date. They make be newest, but they are seemingly the same angles/shots. And it's not like pics are of 27 different locations on a huge club layout, say. Why aren't they random pics as it was before new format ?..Could it be this feature is very difficult to reproduce at this time of reorganizing ?
Completely different software. Very different capabilities and setups, when available. Different plug-ins, when available. Much different work needed to adapt, where possible. Charlie has been talking with the developer on various topics. It's all taking a bit of time.
