Wow! Knowing the size of a the Euro 1 cent coin, (it's quite a bit smaller than a US penny), that is some very nice work. The lettering is fantastic! And small! How did you get them all so straight?

    Thank's a lot guys !! :funny:

First i have filled a very little bit the base of each letters (slater's 3mm ones). It is particurarly nessessary for the "O" witch bring every angles but not the one you want LOL ! :teeth:

Secondly i use a plastic strip ( .040"), placed betwen each letter during the few seconds the glue dry, as a spacer and as a set square. After drying i remove the spacer and place it for the next letter. By the same way i use two card of 2mm sticked together (4mm large) to make the spacer betwen the words.

It's take some time to do that, but there is no difficulty and the result is quite good i think.

Here is a view of the structure of the second face. It is a lateral one, so it's have heavy reinforcement crosses like on the prototype.

That is simply awesome! I'm assuming you are doing a kind of modern day "if d&rgw still existed?" if not, and you want to stay prototypical google currigan hall... it was around at that time

    Thank's shifty !

If my Data are correct, merger betwen D&RGW & SP occurs in 1989, and CCC & Ligth rail opened in 1990 . I think a one year distortion is acceptable. Lot's of Rio grande engines keeped theyre scheme during some years after the merger. And i love SP and UP too.
I fall in love at first sight when i saw a video of Light rail comming out of the fantastic CCC underground station. This building have also a wonderfull architecture and blue bear is an emblem of the city. So It was a nice challenge to tempt ! ;) Model railroding is fun!
