Switch in work in Bayard

    Well I am pretty sure this little switcher belongs to the local co-op. But its rare that I ever see action here. Bayard is the end point for BNSF on this old Milwaukee line.

    But cuz I don't know diesels. Someone tell me what this is please.

    This is an EMD SW 1200, this one manufactured between 1955 and 1959, according to the EMD page. The BNSF resources says it was built in 1965.

    Makes you wonder, sometimes, how many pounds of paint some of those little guys have had applied.
