Cool stuff George. I'm just kicking my pike into gear myself. Love the creative idea of using the motor home, absolutely brilliant.

Carl...I can't promise anything...but will give a "Road Trip" some serious thought come October ^5

    Gary...Bus? LOL. T.H.E.R.R. RV sounds better. ;-)

Ken... The layout is 14 feet down the door side...7.5 feet across the back...and 20 feet along "T.H.E. Yard" side.

Steve...Thnxs. The RV was purchased just for the reason its being used for. It wasnt in any shape inside for anything else. Like I said earlier...we are renters and I get tired of tearing down layouts if/when we move. So after THE Trailer I decided to 'upgrade'...LMAO>

From reading all the posts in this thread, it sounds like there are pictures to be seen, but all I can see are the trackplan photo, and the ones of the R/V interior with beginning tracks posted yesterday. Am I missing something here? I thought maybe it was an old thread and the photos deleted by the server, but it's really less than a week old, so surely that can't be the problem. I really like the idea of building your layout inside a trailer or R/V for extreme portability.

    George-

I have filed a tech report for this one. Please bear with us. Not sure what is happening, but will chase it as quickly as time allows and humanly possible.

    GO, GEORGE, GO!!!

As one "Unitracker" - (is that a word??), to another, I really like the way it's coming together.
Do the "Captain's chairs" swivel, so you can set and watch trains run with your feet propped up?? :)

    Thnxs :)

Yes...the seats swivel. The drivers seat will only swivel so far...because of the steering wheel hitting it. But...it turns enough for THE Wife ;-)

Who said it was easy . We just only post photos of the final results :teeth:

Looking good, George. You may want a touch more blue in the bottom, unless you want it to be very hazy. What I did was take two very similar blues, one a bit whiter than the other, and roller the top and bottom sections of sky, leaving a small, but irregular gap. Then, I "dry rollered" the gap area, using both paints. After that, a bit of a dilute white wash on the transition area just before the paint was dry.

Yup....when I look at it in pics....that lighter color does need to be lowered. Back to the drawing board...LOL
