Believe it or not, this engine has really existed: An ex-CSX (ex-ex Seabord System) GP40, re-built with some WC #3015 parts and a cab from BN by some 'magician' at Wisconcin Central's work shops. The model is shown after re-built prior to the final paint job. The kitbash has all usual features as earlier GP40s I made.

I love it Gerd, its so mismatch thats is pretty. Another engines you can do is the BNSF 170. It has UP cab added to the GP60B.

I know I am just being self indulgent here, but I'd love to see the prototype next to that, because even without seeing it, It looks like you nailed it! Great job.

Wow! Hadn't you given us the prototype locomotive's ownership, I would have been unable to say who it belongs to! As usual, congratulations for the outstanding work!!
