    Ken,

I'll take photos this year - possibly from a high vantage point. This is the second year that we are in a single large venue (50K SQ Ft) so it should be pretty cool.

This is the first time in about 4 years that I can actually help out. I guess that's what kids and a career will do. :tb-biggrin:

    Peter-

Would love to see pix of people. You, Keith, Ryan, etc. Plus folks such as Kirk R. My very favorite PNW layouts are Jim Younkins woo woo woo&S, (which obviously won't be at this show), the UNW, and MRNS crews. Great stuff. When I lived there, never tired of walking around those two layouts at shows. Always spotted something new, or unique. One of these days, I will get back out there.

    Ken,

I will make sure Peter takes some photos. I will make sure he also takes some photos of us UNW members and other intems such as the sawmill I am building (mostly from scratch) for the UNW as well as alot of other layout such as MRNS.
In fact Peter if you are reading we should really update the profile photos and information on the website. I think this weekend would be a great time to start taking photos for it.

Yes, I admit that I've been slacking on the website. I'll make sure we get something posted the week following the show. :)

    Peter,

Dont forget to make sure we get a picture of the youngest little engineer that will be with the club on Saturday. He will be wearing his little train shirt and his Engineers hat. Kind of reminds me of his dad when he was a kid sometimes.

So this will stay with the club layout? Not for use on the SNCT at home?

Yes it will be a permanent fixture on the UNW layout. I figure it will get far more exposure there than at home.

Nice, a show finally near me! I'm going to try and con the wife into going sunday as long as it doesn't snow. We've had some nasty weather here lately and although I'm a good driver I'm still going to lose when some semi or SUV squishes our honda flat.

I just got back from the show! Nice layouts and everybody beyond friendly! Not to much Z-scale for sale, but the Northwest Z-scalers had the layout running. Next time, I'm taken my Stevens Pass layout with, just to show it off! Oh, sorry, no pic's taken. Wish I would have taken the cam though, 'cus BNSF had a couple freights and even a rolling meet right out front!!:teeth:

We made it, was actually a decent day-first time I've seen sunlight in awhile it seems...
We traded off some blue box kits that weren't quite my era for some more rolling stock, a couple of athearn loco's, and 3 house kits. I thought the Z scale layout was impressive-they must be very good with tweezers!
Some of the larger HO scale layouts were hurting a little from the move, track pulling up from the roadbed and gaps between the sections.
I was the younger guy wandering around in the adidas stocking cap if anyone saw me there.

I took my daughter on Saturday. This was my first time in like six or seven years that I have made it to the show. We had a good time and I posted some photos in weekend photo fun. I'll add a couple more here too tho. I dropped off a couple of BN SD-45's to Jim Vaughn and I am having him turn back the clock on them and soon they will be wearing their proper colors of big sky blue! The Z scale layout was pretty cool. I picked up some Atlas code 55 track so I can make a second attempt at track laying on my little project diorama. I got to meet Pamela, the owner of N scale magazine and she was really nice. All in all I gave the show a two thumbs up. I always find it kind of funny to see some of the outrageous prices that people are still trying to get for some of their stuff at the tables tho. Joe
