I seem to have gotten a bit of a sticky Unitrck point proably a bit of ballast in it. It works manually but the DCC chip can't move it. Is there a clever way fo cleaning it to free it up? I thought about switch clener as it cones out with some force.

I solved a similar problem by using a vacuum cleaner to remove the obstruction. Worked fine afterwards.
I caution you to not attempt to take the turnout apart to solve this problem. They are very tricky to reassemble. I ruined one trying to solve some other problem.

When you switch it manually, does it feel "free" (easy to move)? If so, you probably don't have an obstruction. When switching via DCC, do you here/see it try to move and it just doesn't, or do you just notice it hasn't changed position? If the latter, are you sure the connector underneath is still seated properly?

You can buy cans of compressed air almost anywhere. Spray the air in the slide switch opening while manually working the switch. It will usually blow any debris off the moving parts.
