I have not assembled my turntable yet, but I do believe the you have to connect your own track power. Wow 1 ½ years! That’s a long time. I don’t think I’m going to pre order anything anymore because I never seem to get them. I’m waiting for a few item I ordered months ago like the Buford 86' Santa Fe Auto Parts Cars 2pk. I don’t know when I’ll ever get it, but I’m now losing interest in it.
I'm with you on this. I also pre-ordered and it never came. This also seems to be a recurring thing for me as well. I think I am with you on no more pre-orders. In the mean time, I have the older DC version that I am converting to DCC.
I have played at little with my turntable but have not installed it on the layout yet. There are two sets of connections on the control box. One set supplies power to the control box, the other set supplies power to the track. I'm not home right now and I don't remember which set is which. I'll post some more information tomorrow evening.
Out of curiosity, I decided to open the box and check it out. I don't know if the HO is the same as the N, but its pretty straight forward. View attachment Walthers 130 Turntable .pdf
AdrianL - if you're attaching it to a DCC system connect terminals 1 and 4 to one track connection on the booster output and terminals 2 and 3 to the other track connection. The PDF file that Johnny B attached is what came with my unit. There were also instructions for programming on another sheet.
