I need to make some time to build a lot of kits on the bench! This is one of them. I have a tank farm with one truck but needed one of this style.

I've been working on my coffee table layout. I spent some time just laying down static grass. I need to put in an order for some scenery supplies for tress and other shrubs. Overall I like how this one is coming along.

Very nice. Your track work looks nice as well. They layout almost looks to be N scale.

Matt, I'm going to try that with the T-gauge track I have. Awesome.

Maybe we should use your track plan as a new standard for mini's. Each create their own scenery/structures and can't deviate from the track plan (accept maybe elevation). I should make one too in Z. See ya at the shows, hopefully in November or NTS?

Jeff, the track plan is a modified version of one from Mikes N Scale Track Plans http://www.cke1st.com/m_train2.htm. I used this trackplan when I built my first N scale layout when I got into the hobby back in 2004, and it is my favorite small layout plans. I'm using a Rokuhan double slip so I can run it as two separate loops or one long continuous run. I see T-guage has a 30* crossing so you should be able to come up with something close. I can make the next GTE show but I have no plans on going to Portland.

    My first N scale Layout.

I really like this layout. This is some nice work for sure. The track plan is very nice, a great adaptation of that N scale plan. What is great about this layout is it is complete but you can keep on adding details to it.
Lots of great stuff, but I really like the ballast on the tracks the best. If the tracks look like a toy everything else doesn't matter. Your track is fantastic.

    Out and about with Cuyahoga

I am taking Cuyahoga to the TVNAM show in Staffordshire next weekend. This is unusual for a model railway show in the U.K as all of the layouts and traders are based on U.S railroads, the layout ran quite well at the recent Cleckheaton show in West Yorkshire so I have been busy on two projects one long term and one more recent

The Halmark turbine is now running but I haven't fitted couplers yet and the EMD FT is also coming along. This is in red primer as I have sanded out the grainy finish resulting from it being 3D printed in SWF. Next to go on will be the dynamic brake boxes and I'm going to fit a body mount coupler at the front end and fill in that rather unsightly big slot on the pilot. Note the cool automobiles, I got these off EBAY from CSIKAPE in Hungary ready painted and fully intend to get some more

After the show I'm going to carry on the rebuild of the water damaged 'Dunsmuir' extension module off Shasta but will have to take a break end of July as I shall be coming over to California to see the folks

I've converted the Vandy tendor for the UP Tourist train but need to the Turbine.
