Happy New Year! As a newbee, I want to ask this first question - where to find/get an N-scale streamlined 4-6-4 NYC J-3a Hudson? This is for my 9-year old son's birthday. I have seen on the internet stories, pictures, descriptions about this train aka 20th Century Limited Streamliner (?). But I have not found a place that sells the model train yet. Thanks for your help.
Ebay...... Key did a Brass version thats rather pricey, and then Con-Cor did a model too, easier on the wallet. Both show up on EBay every now and then. And Welcome to Trainboard!
Heres a review of the engine in plastic. Scroll down for a picture of that version. Con-Cor 4-6-4 NYC Class J-3a Hudson
Well, I have posted this text in the other thread: ============= Check here please: N-Scale Locomotive Encyclopedia There are 3 models: 2 Con-Cor (Con-Cor 4-6-4 NYC Class J-3a Hudson) and 1 Key (Key/Samhongsa (Brass) 4-6-4 NYC J-3a Hudson). And Con-Cor apparantly has them in stock: All-Railroad's 'N' Scale Hudson Locomotive ==============
