Well, this is my first official "shot" on the new rails. I just completed the last bit last night and now have a complete loop - I'll start working on the yard next. However, I thought I'd throw one out here - no scenery and a somewhat odd .. backdrop .. but it has potential.
Out of curiosity (having done similar loads) do you plan to add tie-downs to the dozers and excavator?
The wife had better start keeping a close eye on any fine gold necklaces she has - a little black paint and Voila!, heavy log chains on those puppies!
Ah .. a Bond girl, you are? Must be Barbara Carrera .. ;-) BTW, beautiful work on that street scene - you folks all inspire me daily!
Candy: that fourth car is a DIFCO side dump. These cars use the large cylinders beneath it to dump rip-rap along river banks. They can also be used for other items. They can dump with right or left...UP has a bunch of them. The Rio Grande did as well. There are even a few D&RGW DIFCOs still in service.
Candy; your modeling of that street scene is absolutely astounding! Watch out for transients in Jimmy's... Sent from my IdeaTab S6000-F using Tapatalk

My club had a train show today, so here are a few pictures. The first is from a different club, which was N scale. This module is Streator Illinois, which is on the BNSF Chillicothe subdivision. Even though I don't have a layout, this is the line that I research the most. It was pretty cool seeing a place I recognized on a module. The next photo is from my own club's layout. This is a photo of one of the member's reefer train. It appears to be having some coupler malfunctions. It was 62 cars long, (not including the caboose) and covered about half of our layout. Unfortunately, the locomotive eventually ended up on the floor, in more than one piece.
Looking at, Jimmy's, I don't like how clean the door and all the white areas look. I must do something about that. Maybe put a For Rent sign on the window as well.
