I, too, would love to see it restored. Of course they will say it takes $$$..... Which we all already know. I wish someone would do a book on the ribbie styles and classes.
Somewhere in my collection, I have a picture of a MILW ribside boxcar next to the KCS mainline north of Heavener, OK. Most likely there after one of KCS's many "oopsies" during the Deramus (William IV) years..........
That car actually belonged to my Uncle who had it in Mineral, WA for a time. I think he has since for all intents and purposes donated to the CCRR. It's essentially a tool car.
Oh, wow!! Being a Milw fan, this would be sweet to own, and restoring it would be a labor of love! The other one up at Snoqualmie was looking good awhile back, but I haven't seen it for awhile now.
