all of my photos are within the size limits, what gives? I choose the file and then click close and nothing happens
after selecting below the "Upload a File" it opens a small window with 2 options 1)browse or 2)close (do not close) Select browse grab photo in your desktop wherever stored and then only select "open" and it auto uploads pic with parameters.
You then select the size, such as "Thumbnail" or "Full Image", and click "Post Reply". Wait for it to upload. Done.
Thank you Russell, I didn't have a screen capture software on this office computer when trying to help out here-the old saying pictures worth a thousand words
Team, I am trying (unsuccessfully) to upload a few images to Rail Images. As you know, I have quite a lot of photos uploaded, so I know the process. The image never uploads, and I haven't changed how I upload them. The system just won't accept them, and won't tell me why. It doesn't matter if I rename the file. Any ideas?
I know the site auto-formats the file size to the limits, but the original file size I just found out is enormous (14MB for one of them in particular). The photos whose file sizes were under 7MB seems to upload/resize just fine.
Open the photo in an editing program and save at a higher compression JPEG format. It is the only thing I have found that works when they are large
Also remember there is a limit to storage space available, for everyone. So the smaller your files, the more you can upload.
I literally just this week just changed to some new software--it has resizing built in. My last software didn't and I had to take an extra step in MS Paint to resize. I am lazy like that...
