Yes, they are the Prairie Shadows engines, but they definitely come in Atlas boxes. They are some of my favorite locos to run. NAR had to have had one of the most attractive paint schemes, ever . I've been tempted a few times by the Rapido GMD1's for NAR, but they are usually beyond the budget, and also they don't have the locomotive names on them. I've been thinking of upgrading these GP9s slightly with correct horns, hood mounted bells and winterization hatches, but they definitely photograph well as it is. I ran them at Supertrains in Alberta a couple times, and I was always hoping someone would recognize them.
Having built and modelled C.P. on the Thompson River Layout here in OZ. I have a soft spot for the CP & CN. Keep up the nice work. Vic Fitzpatrick vicsmodels
I got a chance to run a proper NAR mixed train with a nicely done passenger car I recently picked up:
Good looking train. I like the CN covered h Good looking train. Like the CN covered hopper. Don't think I have seen that scheme before. Looks good.
And here's my contribution to the CANADIEN MOMENT ... Eh! I have some relatives in Canada on my Late Father s side. Tom
