I am not sure I understand this discussion. When Harald Freudenreich came up with his F40PH he was forced to produce a significant lot of shells, much more than he had chassis. When all the finished F40PH were sold, a lot of shells were left over and he tried to sell the shells without chassis. Apparently, nobody was interested and he finally gave up and sold the lot of shells. Sascha then picked up some 20 shells for our Ski-Train project. You may want to contact Sascha ( http://zcustomizer.de/impressum.html ), if you want a shell or even a finished loco. BTW, Mark, the MTL GP35 chassis nicely fit at least under the FR shells, but are of course only a compromise. Best, Sven
Dang, sure wish AZL could produce these again for the Superliners! Especially in molded plastic.......
It is all there, if you could convince AZL to pick up the drawings, shells, forms etc, this could be easy going. But as AZL you need to fix the chassis issue, too. Best, Sven
As far as I know Freudenreich is not in possession of the tooling anymore. Given/sold to somebody else, but I'm not aware if production ever restarted
