    I believe they have made damage from future log jams less likely. The previous bridge was a wooden trestle requiring closely spaced bents. The new one consists of longer deck girder and concrete spans requiring less and more widely spaced supports. Thus providing ample space for future log flow. At least that's how it works in theory. We'll have to wait and see. :cautious:

    Appears to have driven Steel piling supports with concrete caps shaped as a Dividing head.
