    When Bob Schoenfeld last worked there in 2000, there were even asphalt paltforms for both tracks and a freight house just north of the passenger station building.

    I think so. A railfan friend on a general photography forum recently shot some very nice photos of the Galion station, now totally refurbished. Other than an Erie line to the east now gone, all of the Big Four routes remain intact.
