https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-At...730050?hash=item23d2842182:g:2-gAAOSwlBteYm0z This guy started the bidding at thirty five dollars, which does not seem unreasonable. Are these things that rare that they are worth the hundred and sixty something bananas at which the bid now sits? It has a little under four days left.
Hot damn! I have one of them new in a box, William McFarlan. I got it at the souvenir shop when I visited years and years and years ago. Maybe they are out of production? I should list mine. Starting bid $50!

It's a custom painted loco of the actual UP SD60M 2519 that got graffitied while in storage. Nicely done IMHO.
They are at one hundred seventy something as of this posting with twelve hours left. That price would be consistent with what you have posted. There have been fourteen bids and eleven watchers. This one might end in a sniping war.
yeah, pretty cool loco. I'm no fan of graffiti, but the guy painted the 1:1 version in one night! There's a time lapse video on youtube. Uncle Pete got so mad, they immediately pulled it from the deadline and repainted it!
It's in EXCELLENT condition!!!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Key-Models...238831?hash=item594812282f:g:7aMAAOSwX~hebAaF
Ron, let me expand on what the owner said: Excellent condition but not running and not complete so sold as is! How can something be Excellent condition but not running????!!!!
Considering that it is brass, I suppose that the price is not bad. He does state that he is selling it "AS-IS", but, it also states that he accepts returns. Usually, if you sell an item "AS-IS", you do not allow returns. A look at the front view tells you that there are parts missing other than just the tender. He should make a point of stating that in the text of the auction. He probably should add that it is good for parts only. In fact, if he stated that, it might attract a buyer who is looking for parts for one of these things. I have sold a number of junk lots on FeePay by stating that they were good for parts, ONLY. In fact, usually I am surprised at what the junk fetches. If I get ten or fifteen dollars and they pay the postage, usually I am happy. I have gotten far in excess of that, in some cases. When I sell Junque or something that is good for parts, only, I am quite specific about why it is HOON-kay and why it is good for parts only.
At least it is going for cheap so far, but the front pilot is missing, the rear has been smashed, and the skyline casing is buckled. If you are modeling a wreck, then this model IS excellent!
Lady selling brass. https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Brass-KE...959871?hash=item3d9f9e58ff:g:f8oAAOSwGdZecVHM https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hallmark-M...955559?hash=item3d9f9e4827:g:64wAAOSwpcBecVAd I sent a friendly suggestion that the listings were reverse as well as the boxes. The one she thinks is an SD45-2 is really a Key SD40-2. I also sent her links to Spookshow's great site. She replied back: According to others that have sold, I am right. If you have a subscription to worthpoint you can see the exact one there. I could not match them up by switching them. karen OK. More power to her. Fortunately for her, there are enough people who DO know what they're doing and buying and they won't care the labels are wrong..... though I WOULD care if it came in the wrong box. That would bug me. Wonder if anyone else ever tells her she has these mixed up.
Just call it 'rare': https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-AT...=1435581114589e40f3cbc33c49cb8e140964ba2b5561
