It is going to be an autumn diorama so I need autumn trees. Some were made by myself, some were adopted..

The river is almost full of water:

I really like the natural "dam"

I was not fully satisfied with the water and the colour. Just to rememeber this will be autumn diorama. One should imagine calm breeze, sunny weather, very small waves (we called them in Polish "wrinkles") and leaves from the trees over the water surface ...

Very convincing. I like the driftwood and flotsam around the bridge support. Just as it would be in real life. Good eye for detail, Pawel. Jim

The trees are looking really good! Like how the bridge scene is developing.

Thank you. I think good eye for detail and prototype research and sensitivity is very important for modelling.

My work on diorama is coming to the end so it is time to look after some technical details.

Protective rails on the bridge are necessary:

    Handrails on bridgeheads:

    Bridge bearing are self made:

Bridge bearings are placed in final destination:

I think colours are even better in natural light. The diorama is finished - I think there will be name on the front edge and plexi case to protect it. General view:

It is a good to make photos of trains:

That is a very nice looking train; it photographs so well in sunlight on your diorama!

Next diorama is going to be totally different in style. In the city of Poznan there is a place with new condos which looks like this:

Many years ago the place had different function and look:

I started to build a waterfront:

Man, You work fast. Slow down you are making us all look bad. LOL. I hope you are doing the old and not the condos. Jim

Of course it is going to be the old look. I plan to have some buildings done by myself and some commercial items. Definitely there will be some modeller's licence in use. Genberal period of time will be 30tues and 40ties. The problem is the war time - some buildings were destroyed. I started with big warehause:

I started construction with measurements calculations based on photos:

Pawel. Photo No. 1 with the harbor cranes is great. Lot's of great little details to model. It gives me a better idea how to use the Artitec resin one. Thanks for sharing it. BTW. Of course I knew you were doing the original. Jim
