The seller is identified as "miraclemantradingcompanyllc". So, if you were expecting the listing to actually be correct, then it would be a miracle.
Here's another one . VINTAGE N SCALE LIFE LIKE S779 SD-45 CANADIAN PACIFIC LOCO DIESEL | eBay Happen to have this same exact Locomotive however mine says BURLINGTON.. C.B. & Q. I paid $ 6.00 , not $50. 00+ for mine! And she still has the original motor and still runs. Here's a photo of my LL =LIFE LIKE SD45. Tom
1. Atlas, not Kadee 2. N scale, not Z 3. Penn. Michigan Central was a subsidiary of Penn rival New York Central 4. Michigan is misspelled. 5. It is in an ore car box, not a gondola box (you would be amazed at the snipe wars over Atlas ore jennies) 6. The price is crazy. B-b-b-b-b-ut you do not understa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-nd. It runs forward AND reverse.
One...two...four...five..six...wait, where's three? (price isn't bad, though, and the count is right in the description). https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Mi...678087&hash=item216f0ddd6e:g:swkAAOSw3adesZU2
Whoa, and the shipping from Buford, GA to my residence is just over $50 to my neighboring home state.
It's alright...for another $30 it'll come up here to Canada. I'm glad I'm getting that 99% discount after all.
I think this person is either messing with us(their other items are reasonably priced and their feedback is almost perfect) or they didn't have their glasses on during the time of the posting. It just don't make sense. I would expect this kind of shenanigan from inexperienced seller or the such. Maybe they hired a noob who isn't paying attention to what they were instructed to post.
If there are, in fact, one hundred pieces of this stuff, that would be sixteen of the six pack envelopes plus four from one; call it seventeen envelopes. There is a certain well known e-Tailer in the Eastern part of the U.S. of A. that sells those envelopes for something close to three dollars fifty cents. That would come out to fity-nine dollars fifty.. If he wants to sell that stuff, he will have to work for it. I have, however, seen stranger things happen on FeePay.
I went back and checked it again, it appears the they changed the title and description. This is for 100 pieces of this track. This being said thats a fair price.
In the Description below, it states: "This is a case of 100 This is a single section of Atlas Code 80 11 inch radius curve track section."
The "99% off" listing citation I made wasn't the only one. I wonder if the Professional Selling Organization which had this listing changed the other mistakes as well. It doesn't take away from their "Shipping is a Profit Center" philosophy, however. I was looking at to boxcars which would have been decent buys until adding the shipping and tax (which in the case of my state of residence, is applied to BOTH the price AND the shipping). So, no deal.
I'am a bit late to this foot race. Backing up a bit. At best this is just a caricature of an SD45. Oversized handrails, oversized grills and undersized cab. Mine is anything but a good performer and I paid to much for it back when it first came out. PMI if I remember correctly. Powered rear trucks only. I was hoping someone, preferably Kato would come out with a chassis that would fit inside this unit. And then! I realized I'd be better off buying Kato's version of a SD45. Live and learn. I have no idea who said that first.
