Would anyone be willing to make some two or three dozen N scale traffic cones?

Long ago I bought N Scale traffic cones at an Atlanta train show, made by Phil Walters of Green Light Hobbies. He's in Naples, FL at 239-353-7683. I think Showcase Miniatures offers them too.

I just designed some with Fusion 360...

I had to make the base a scale 4" thick to make them print right on the Ender Filament printer but you don't really notice that.

    These are really small...

I used measurements from Grainger's site.

I could make these but there are some problems associated with that. The actual print time is less than a minute but I have to print only one at a time. I tried printing 5 at a time and it prints them but a small amount of the filament drags from one to the other, like a spider web, so didn't like that option.

Also the filament printer lays down about a foot of filament along the side of the bed every print. Probably enough filament to print a dozen of these. So the amount of filament actually used for the cone is minor to what is used each print. Printing 24 to 36 would use quite a bit of filament.

I'll put the print files up on my thingiverse account today ( https://www.thingiverse.com/sumner/designs ) and maybe someone with a resin printer can try them and see if that is a better solution or look at the shapeways option.

Here is a direct link to the print files.... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4502040

I wonder how I would support these in resin? I might try to take a whack at it in resin? I have no need for them, but they should whip up in about an hour. If they print properly, I should be able to print an interstate construction zone worth on one print plate.

Those look perfect. It's a shame that they won't print in batches.

Problem that some of us might have selling something is that it would violate our use of Fusion 360's 'free personal use' stipulation. All the items that I've designed were done with Fusion 360 so I can't sell them. I can offer the files on thingiverse and someone else could do whatever with them.

Ngineer is a fellow N Scaler, so you would be contributing to a fellow modeler.
