Even the wood looks like it’s peeling the paint off! Nice!

    Thank you, Rudy,

Here we have a "Crow's Nest" to watch your switchers at work (y)

The brass kit is frequently on Ebay, but I have not seen somebody putting it on his layout.
    Can't be, or?

    Have a nice Sunday!

    Best,
    Sven

Can you hear the complete silence of the summer afternoon....?

Only the wind in the trees and the waves from the nearby port?

    Best,
    Sven

Do you take the layout outside to get the sunshine like that? No way it’s from a light bulb is it?

I always enjoy these pictures and everytime I think I spot something different that catches my attention. The weathering on the retaining wall...wow! Just fantastic!

Same here. I don't how many times I looked at it, but it was only recently that I discovered that Dirk left the door open, so that one can see the equipment inside.........

All my best and stay safe!

    Yes, indeed! And sometimes the sun breaks through the roof window of Dirk's atelier and creates its own pattern, as you can see here;

    Enjoy your WE!

How about a bridge to present your trains?

Two tracks, 140cm long, fully functional,.......

    Example given:

    ...expanded view.....

Not that far away from reality....

    Enjoy your Sunday!

Looks great Sven! Now you only need a automatic staging yard and just sit down and watching trains passing by.

I think what impresses me the most is I grew up in the 70s watching railroads in cities become dilapidated and either renovated by a merger and cleaned up and consolidated or just flat out removed.

Your photos give me that impression...that 1970s vibe of either it’s gonna get cleaned up or we are seeing the end. Very impressive!

Don't laugh, Dirk once fooled a famous model railroad writer with this one:

Of course, there is also a little depot at White Haven, where the locos are refreshed for their way back.

Let's have a look over the wall.
